Process Engineer develops and optimizes continuous production and manufacturing processes to achieve the output, quality, and cost goals of the organization. Collects production data and applies standard scientific and statistical methods to analyze, document, and diagram production processes. Being a Process Engineer identifies process bottlenecks and devises solutions to resolve. Recommends changes or upgrades to equipment, work methods, or other aspects of the process to improve efficiency and utilization of resources including labor, energy and raw materials. Additionally, Process Engineer requires a bachelor's degree of engineering. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Process Engineer works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. Work is closely managed. To be a Process Engineer typically requires 0-2 years of related experience. The STS Group is a globally leading supplier of components and systems for the commercial vehicle and automotive industries headquartered in France. The Adler Pelzer Group, a global Tier 1 supplier recently acquired STS group to expand its target market. STS is pioneering operations of Class A surface components for the heavy trucks in the USA. We are seeking an experienced Process Engineer for the molding and bonding processes in the opening of the brand new STS facility near Salem, Virginia in the Roanoke, VA area.
The Process Engineer will work closely with a launch team from our France, Mexico and Michigan locations to assure a successful process in the manufacturing of class A surfaces for heavy trucks.

The Process Engineer will be based out of the Virginia facility. This role will require some initial travel for pre-launch activities. Relocation to Virginia is available.
