Job Summary
The Engineering Instructor will teach engineering sciences and technology and related courses. Duties include curriculum development, use of innovative methodologies, and willingness to integrate technology into classroom and online lessons. Faculty is expected to engage with students inside and outside the classroom, to participate in collegial activity with peers, to participate in on-going professional development, and to be involved with the college governance processes.
Education/Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Engineering or Bachelor of Science in Engineering and Professional Engineering licensure.

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements
- Classroom, Office, Lab, and some Field Settings
- Some evenings and weekends as scheduled

Experience
- Experience using technology as an instructional tool
- Experience coordinating activities and purchasing supplies
- Teaching experience preferred
- Experience in various CAD software packages, Surveying, and/or GIS is preferred
- Teaching experience in Geology and Physics or related fields preferred
- Field and/or preparatory lab experience in geology and physics preferred
