Process Engineering Director directs and develops a team responsible for the optimization, design, and implementation of manufacturing processes, equipment, or plants. Drives continuous improvement in process design, cost savings, quality, and resource utilization. Being a Process Engineering Director leads engineering projects, incorporates newest technologies, resolves engineering problems, approves process designs. Requires a bachelor's degree of engineering. Additionally, Process Engineering Director typically reports to top management. The Process Engineering Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. To be a Process Engineering Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience.     SUMMARY: Plans, directs, and budgets for all civil process, prisoner transport, and warrant entries.

     

    PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

This is not a comprehensive listing of all functions and duties performed by incumbents of this class; employees may be assigned duties which are not listed below; reasonable accommodations will be made as required.  The job description is subject to change at any time by the employer. Essential duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:

     

    • Prepares and enters warrants daily into National Crime Information Center (NCIC); tracks, audits, validates and removes served, expired, and recalled warrants; uploads photos of wanted persons to County Sheriff’s website; prepares residential and commercial evictions as ordered by the court.
    • Organizes and assists with serving civil and legal court documents, including but not limited to subpoenas, summons, property executions, garnishments, and orders of protection, as issued.
    • Maintains civil ledger and bookkeeping system involving all cash transactions and back reconciliations; prepares all deposits and disbursement of payments; prepares the annual budget for the Warrants and Civil Process Department.
    • Prepares and tracks all probation and release orders and terms and conditions of inmates.
    • Creates and maintains the procedure manual for the Warrants and Civil Process Office.
    • Supports the relationship between the Teton County staff and the general public by demonstrating courteous and cooperative behavior when interacting with visitors and County staff; maintains confidentiality of work-related issues and County information; performs other duties as required or assigned.


    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:


    Education and Experience:

    • High school diploma or GED equivalent
    • Two years of applicable experience and familiarity with word processing, data entry, and internet operations


    Required Licenses and Certifications:

    • National Incident Management Certification IS100 and IS700, or ability to obtain certification within one year of appointment.
    • Notary Public License, or the ability to obtain within 2 months of appointment.
    • NCIC and Security Awareness Certifications issued by the Wyoming Law Enforcement Academy (WLEA).


    Required Knowledge of:

    • Principles and procedures of recordkeeping, reporting and retention.
    • Law enforcement and court principles, procedures, and methods.
    • Principles and practices of accounting and finance; auditing standards.
    • Current technological capabilities and applications.


    Required Skills in:

    • Operating a personal computer utilizing standard software such as Microsoft Office and some specialized software; functioning standard office equipment.
    • Establishing and maintaining cooperative working relationships with coworkers and other individuals in contact during the course of work; communicating clearly and concisely
    • Utilizing problem solving strategies and organizing information and activities involving multiple sources.
