We are looking for a full time Chemical Engineering Co-op with hands-on experience on conducting process development experiments with good analytical and problem-solving skills.
The candidate for this position will be involved in performing process simulation based on literature review, method development for purification/isolation process via Supercritical fluid chromatography / counter current liquid-liquid separation process etc. The candidate will be required to work closely with engineering team on a day-day basis. The key aspect of this internship role is to work on novel supercritical fluid processes on various applications such as extraction, oxidation, purification, heat recovery, desalination etc. A part of this role will also be on operating analytical and pilot scale systems for gathering experimental data and method developments. Candidates with special interest and knowledge on supercritical fluids will be preferred. This position will be for our Pittsburgh, PA facility with a strong possibility to extend the co-op for multiple semesters based on performance.
