Process Engineering Technician provides technical support to engineers to ensure production goals of the organization are met. Provides assistance related to the review of existing and design of new manufacturing equipment, processes, and plants. Being a Process Engineering Technician may suggest or implement equipment purchases, modifications or calibration changes that could result in improved productivity or reduced costs related to production. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Additionally, Process Engineering Technician typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Process Engineering Technician may require 0-1 year of general work experience. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. The Engineering Technician is responsible for performing construction phase testing and inspections at on-going construction projects, which includes providing accurate notes and descriptions of all field activities while reporting to their respective supervisor daily. Engineering Technicians will also be required to provide accurate site inspection reports (SIRs), daily summary emails to their immediate supervisor, and provide accurate project documentation.
