Process Engineering Technician jobs in Saint Cloud, MN

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Develop manufacturing processes/procedures and ensure processes/procedures are up-to-date and accurate
• Work with the production team to test and validate documentation for pre-production product runs
• Process corrective action requests (CAR’s)
• Process deviation requests
• Process change requests
• Document testing results using Microsoft Word or Excel
• Works with and helps train production personnel on test setups and procedures
• Create solutions to complex technical problems in a variety of industries
• Assist engineers and scientists as they create, modify, and test products and processes
• Conduct tests and collect data
• Perform extensive research and development during the creation phase of the product
• Inspect products and processes for flaws and identify areas of improvement
• Assist in product design, development, and production*
• Build and set up equipment
• Prepare and conduct experiments
• Calculate or record results during experiments
• Create prototypes of equipment
• Conducts testing on new products, software, and fixtures
• Confers with engineers and design staff concerning product design, functionality, and improvement.
• Develops, evaluates, and improves manufacturing methods
• Is cost-conscious and keeps costs as low as possible without affecting the quality of products.
• Coordinate problem resolution in a timely fashion using available resources
• Ensure high-quality standards are met
• Initiate, coordinate, and implement continuous improvement projects with minimal work direction
• Analyze field failures and returns to ensure that the finished product is of the right standard and meets the requirements of the consumer
• Provides technical advice to the manufacturing floor
• Provide technical support for testing qualifications and validations
• Provide input during prototype development to engineers*
