Quality, Safety, and Training Supervisor

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and oversee the quality assurance program and quality control activities to ensure compliance with the DHL Quality Management System, customer requirements, and regulatory standards.
• Coordinate the planning, administration, and enforcement of the Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) program at the facility to ensure adherence to company policies, as well as local, state, and federal regulations.
• Identify potential hazards, assess risks to health, safety, and the environment, and collaborate with stakeholders to determine appropriate safety controls.
• Provide guidance and advice to management and employees on accident prevention and occupational health matters.
• Administer and facilitate training and development programs for DHL Supply Chain Team Members in alignment with corporate, OSHA, and legislative guidelines.
• Support Team Members in their day-to-day activities and ensure that all processes are documented accurately to meet company, regulatory, and corporate requirements.

Requirements:

• Experience in quality assurance, safety management, or training roles.
• Knowledge of quality management systems and regulatory compliance.
• Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental regulations and best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with employees at all levels.
• Ability to identify risks, develop and implement appropriate controls, and provide guidance on accident prevention.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills to ensure compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency in training program administration and facilitation.

Required Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, preferred                       

• 0-3 years operations experience in a lead/supervisor/management role, required     

• 1-2 years logistics industry experience preferred     

• Staff management, workload planning, objective setting and organizational skills, required

• Excellent communication skills, fluent in English, required
