Position Summary:
Responsible for assisting the team and ensuring the shift runs smoothly. Maintains safe and efficient work environment. Assists the SPD manager as needed. Provides clean and sterile medical/surgical supplies and equipment to surgery suites and other patient care area. Decontaminates surgical items, assembles, sterilizes and distributes/inventory control. Certified Technicians may assume lead/supervisory responsibilities to ensure efficient operation and sterility assurance maintained. May assume additional ongoing tasks/responsibilities, specifically assigned.
Position Qualification:
High school diploma. 2-3 years of sterile processing experience preferred. Certified sterile processing technician preferred.
