Produce Stocker Position

Job Description

Avila Valley Barn is now taking applications for multiple positions stocking our amazing produce within our main barn. This is a great opportunity to spend your summer and fall enjoying all of the seasons at our farm. No experience is necessary.

4 - 8 hour shifts between the hours of 6:30am and 6:30pm. Must be available to work holidays and weekends. We employ request-off blackout dates on major holidays due to the large volume of customers during those times.

Job Requirements:

- Must be able to lift roughly 50lbs or less repeatedly

- Must be physically able and enjoy being on your feet

- Must have reliable transportation

- Must have an outgoing positive attitude and be self driven

-Must have a friendly personality with a willingness to help customers

- Must have regular and timely attendance to scheduled shifts

Job Duties:

- Providing an uplifting and positive experience for each customer that visits your department.

- Receiving weekly produce orders and organizing into cooler storage.

-Sorting produce on displays and restocking with fresh produce

-Packaging fruits and vegetables

- Washing eggs and placing in cartons

- Daily, weekly and monthly cleaning.

- Assisting with pest control measures as we are an open exposed space

- Receive training in health and safety standards to be maintained at all times.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 per hour
