Your main duties will include stocking and organizing produce, assisting customers with their purchases, and maintaining a clean and inviting department.
Responsibilities:
- Stocking and replenishing produce displays
- Inspecting produce for quality and freshness
- Rotating stock to ensure older products are sold first
- Assisting customers in selecting the best produce items
- Providing exceptional customer service and answering any questions or concerns
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the produce department
- Operating equipment such as scales, slicers, and juicers
- Following all safety and sanitation procedures
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in retail sales or a similar role is preferred
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks such as loading and unloading produce
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members
- Strong organizational skills to keep the department clean and well-stocked
- Customer service-oriented mindset to provide a positive shopping experience for customers
- Knowledge of different types of produce and their characteristics is a plus
- The succesful canidate will be available to work each day of the week, but not required to do so. 5 day work week
- Compensation will be determined with experience in mind. Part time and full time positions are available
