As our Operations Manager, you will be responsible for providing day to day oversight:

Essential Functions:

• Provide inspired leadership for the organization
• Recruit, develop, manage and train up the operations team
• Monitor and analyze operations performance and make recommendations for improvement
• Help promote a company culture that encourages top performance and high morale
• Ensure the company’s operational procedures, policies, and standards are followed
• Oversee maintenance of PIE Equipment
• Oversee maintenance & control costs of fleet to ensure compliance with DOT regulations
• Planning, assigning, and directing work
• Collaborate with other Distribution Centers to ensure a seamless and integrated approach to operations
• Coordinates efforts with the Safety department to aid in training, conducting associate observations, up-dating preferred work methods, conducting accident investigations to determine root causes and routine safety inspections.
• Ensures contingency systems/practices/protocols are in place to eliminate business disruption.

Qualifications:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Previous experience in operations
• Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite, Produce Pro ERP software a plus
• Transportation and Warehousing experience in the Food industry
• Strong leadership and people management abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven track record of delivering results and driving operational excellence
• Must pass pre-hire drug screen and physical
• Legally eligible to work in the U.S.
• Must be able to read, speak, write and understand English, bilingual a plus

Work Schedule:

• Monday - Saturday
• Start time of 10:00am-7:00pm (until work is finished)
• 40 – 45 hours per week

 Compensation:

• Salary $80,000 - $85,000 (based on experience)
