We bring our purpose to life via three shared values: We walk the talk, turn over every stone and keep it human.Job DescriptionWe are looking for a passionate and experienced casual Producer to join the 6PR Team.The main role of the Producer will be to support the team with content pitches and creation, answering open line phone calls, researching and writing news stories…and much more!Day to day, you will report to the Executive Producer, and your duties will include but are not limited to the below:Support the Executive Producer and Presenter  with the creation and delivery of audience-focused content.Develop content ideas, research, scripting and editing stories.Cross-check all material for accuracy, ensuring content is legally sound.Edit and upload podcasts.Monitor and vet calls during the live show, ensuring suitability of callers before they go to air.Work with our News and Digital content teams to ensure consistency among our content.Investigate story tips and liaise with sources and interview subjects.QualificationsYou will have the energy and enthusiasm to embrace our audience and promptly attend to the needs of our most valuable assets: our listeners.
