Product/Brand Management Manager leads the design and implementation of marketing activities to maximize sales of a brand. Researches customer preferences and evaluates product performance to develop effective product and brand positioning and strategies. Being a Product/Brand Management Manager coordinates workload and designates tasks or projects to a team of analysts. Partners with sales to ensure that customer targets and product messaging are effective. Additionally, Product/Brand Management Manager develops metrics used to conduct an ongoing analysis of the effectiveness and value of marketing programs. Utilizes metrics to collaborate with stakeholders to design, produce, and distribute effective marketing materials that reflect the brand and product identity. Acts as a source of knowledge for complex or unusual requests. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Product/Brand Management Manager supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Product/Brand Management Manager typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Thorough knowledge of functional area and department processes.     · Achieves controllable profit and flow thru goals by overseeing all controllable costs and taking the appropriate corrective action to achieve the desired result

    · Attracts, hires, on boards and retains the best hourly talent to meet staffing requirements and guest service standards

    · Develops and executes the local store marketing plan to build relationships with civic, business, school, and professional organizations to drive sales and guest counts

    · Enforces sanitary practices for food handling, general cleanliness and maintenance of kitchen, dining areas and restrooms

    · Works to create and maintain an enjoyable and respectful environment for our guests and employees

    · Manages G&A budgets to company guidelines.

    Desired Skills and Experience

    · College degree preferred.

    · 3 years of experience in restaurant management.

    · Previous experience managing the new restaurant opening process.

    · Experience working in a full service restaurant chain organization preferred.

    · Proven ability to lead and guide a high volume restaurant shift at the Manager level

    o Demonstrates excellent leadership and coaching skills.
    o Strong organizational skills with excellent oral and written communication skills, 2nd language is preferred.
    o Strong Word, Excel, PowerPoint, basic computer and internet skills.
    o Ability to partner with others to achieve results/resolution.
    o Must have strong problem solving and influencing skills and proven ability to overcome objections.
    o Ability to work unsupervised.
    o Must be able to drive, stand, sit, bend and walk for extended periods of time.
    o Must meet any state, county or municipal regulation pertaining to health risk concerns about food handling.
    o Must be able to work around and serve all Denny’s menu products.
    o Must be able to work with potentially hazardous chemicals.
    o Must have sufficient mobility to move and operate in confined work area.
    o Must be able to observe staff and all aspects of restaurant operations and give appropriate, timely feedback.
    o Must be able to tolerate extreme temperature changes in kitchen and freezer areas.
    o Strong problem solving skills and the ability to partner with others to achieve results/resolution.
    · Licensed to operate an automobile without hours of operations restrictions.
    · Training experience strongly preferred.
    · Food Safety Manager Certification preferred.
    · Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills.
    · Excellent business and financial acumen.
    · Ability to work weekends, holidays, evenings as needed.
