Full Job Description – Leasing Agent/Property Manager

Mecca Management, Inc. is a family-owned and operated property management company located in Bowling Green, Ohio. In business since 1991, we own and operate properties throughout northwest Ohio that include apartment complexes, strip centers, office buildings, mobile home park, self-storage facilities, and industrial/warehouse buildings.

We have an exciting opportunity for a full time Leasing Agent/Property Manager in our Bowling Green office. The candidate must be able to effectively provide top-notch customer service and attention to detail. Responsibilities of Leasing Agent/Property Manager included but not limited to:

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Warmly greets visitors, prospective renters, and current residents.
• Provides potential tenants with brochures, information, and tours of facilities and available units.
• Consults with prospective tenants to identify requirements and budgets, then matches these needs with available properties.
• Ensures available and model apartments are fresh and tidy.
• Conducts background and credit checks and verifies other references.
• Prepares leases for new tenants and renewals.
• Coordinates move-in dates, materials, and processes.
• Prepares move-in materials.
• Tours property frequently to ensure it is neat, tidy, attractive, and in good repair.
• Conduct move-out inspections.
• Help to ensure the proper response and handling of all community emergencies with staff and residents.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Experience in AppFolio management software preferred.
• Experience in Leasing/Property Management preferred.

Education and Experience:

• At least two years of related experience required.
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred, high school degree or equivalent required.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer and standing and walking, giving tours, and meeting with potential tenants.
• Must be able to traverse a variety of properties with stairs and in a variety of weather.
• Must be able to work weekends (Saturday) on a rotating schedule.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
