Product/Brand Management Manager, Sr. manages, develops, and implements marketing activities to maximize sales of an assigned brand. Analyzes brand performance, brand competitiveness, and product trends in the marketplace and develops marketing strategies for a brand. Being a Product/Brand Management Manager, Sr. reviews marketing metrics to determine the effectiveness and value of marketing strategies or campaigns. Leads the development, curation, and deployment of marketing content and identifies appropriate sales channels. Additionally, Product/Brand Management Manager, Sr. translates marketing initiatives into specific projects and actionable plans. Works with management and team leaders to identify and implement appropriate sales strategies or improve direction for current campaigns. Ensures product and brand initiatives are consistent and support the organization's public image. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Product/Brand Management Manager, Sr. manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Product/Brand Management Manager, Sr. typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     SUMMARY
    The Shift Manager works under the direction of the Assistant or Restaurant Manager. Works directly with team members and operates shifts in a restaurant.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but not limited to the following:

    • Ensures that restaurants are clean and well maintained, that all company procedures are followed and all standards for food quality, cleanliness, sanitation and customer service are met.
    • Must be able to control cost at budgeted levels as it relates to cash handling, food products, labor, paper supplies, energy consumption, etc.
    • Responsible for cash register setup and shift change.
    • Managing the shift, supervising team members, directing, communicating while maintaining customer’s service awareness.
    • When requested, Shift Manager may train new and existing team members in job stations.
    • Must be able to complete required shift management administrative duties.
    • Responsible for placing of product orders, posting of sale readings and shift awareness walk thru.
    • Shift Managers are expected to observe all safety and security procedures

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS
    Minimum qualifications needed to perform essential job functions. Must be capable of exerting up to 60 pounds of force occasionally or frequently, and/or up to 60 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

    Minimum qualifications needed to perform the essential job functions:

    • Consistently carries products/boxes and miscellaneous weighing no more than 60 pounds.
    • Consistently climbs ladders to roof to check A/C exhaust fan.
    • Consistently operates cash registers, calculators, computers, mail and product.
    • Consistently handles product preparation.
    • Consistently kneels to utilize proper lifting procedures and to open safe.
    • Consistently lifts for product preparation, stocking and inventory.
    • Consistently pushes to open and close door to coolers and freezers.
    • Consistently reaches for product preparation and serving customers and for training.
    • Frequently stands during serving customers and training.
    • Frequently stoops to pick up supplies and trash.
    • Visual and Auditory sense required.

    WORK ENVIRONMENT
    Machines, devices, tools, etc. used in job performance and the conditions in which the job is accomplished.

    EQUIPMENT
    Fryers, broilers, flat top grills, walk in freezer, menu boards, computers, cash registers, warmer lights, filtering machines, oven, steam units, holding cabinets, slicers, storage units, soda fountain hook up station, microwave ovens, insulated oven mitts, toasters, cooking utensils, drive thru communication systems, and automobile to drive to the bank.

    ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS

    • The employee is subject to inside environmental conditions; protection from weather conditions, but not necessarily from temperature changes.
    • The employee is subject to both environmental conditions; work activities occur both inside and outside.
    • The employee is subject to extreme cold temperature below 32 degrees for periods of time.
    • The employee is exposed to hazards which includes a variety of physical conditions, such as moving mechanical parts, electrical current, exposure to high heat of chemicals.
    • The employee is subject to one or more of the following conditions: fumes, odors, dust, mists, gases or poor ventilation.

    QUALIFICATIONS
    To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
    High School or GED; Must be certified to train all functions of each hourly position he/she will supervise. Minors or anyone under of the age of 18 is not allowed to be a Shift Manager. Must be ServSafe and Foundations certified.

    COMMUNICATION SKILLS
    Good oral communication skills; Ability to listen to understand other points of view before responding; Ability to influence others to gain commitment.

    MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
    Basic math skills as it relates to counting change and totaling orders.

    REASONING ABILITY
    Must be able to exercise sound judgment in considering course of action.

    FLEXIBILITY
    Handles day-to day work challenges confidently; is willing and able to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities, and rapid change; ability to work a variety of shifts and times of day.

    LEADERSHIP
    Understanding of effective practices in dealing with customers, exhibiting a positive and professional appearance, demeanor, and dynamic energy.


    Hourly Rate Range: $21.00-$23.10
