The Product Design Engineer is responsible for development of temperature sensors, mechanical and fluid system components, and systems that will become new products of Conax Technologies. This role entails planning and judgment in the independent evaluation, selection, and substantial adaptation and modification of standard and nonstandard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria. In this role, you will utilize your engineering expertise to develop and design concepts for Conax Technologies products. More specifically, if this position, you will design and specify fit, form, and function of components and develop product specifications to meet customer expectations as defined in project contracts. Responsibilities include researching, analyzing, designing, and testing component parts, processes, or systems to develop new or improve core products. This position requires you to Interact and collaborate with other functional departments (materials, manufacturing, and assembly) to assure board success of product design.

We are looking for a strong communicator who can interact and collaborate with other functional departments (materials, manufacturing, and assembly) with a degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience.

Salary ranges for this position are determined based upon the job location and can be adjusted based upon experience, reflecting our commitment to valuing the expertise and contributions of our individual teammates. Salary range for this role is $70,000 - $110,000 annually based upon experience.
