We are seeking a Product Design Team Lead to join our organization. As a Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of product designers. You will guide their day-to-day tasks, ensuring that high-quality user experience designs are delivered on time and align with business objectives. This role requires a blend of strong hands-on and leadership skills, a deep understanding of real-world UX & visual design principles, and the ability to manage projects effectively.
Lead, manage, and mentor a team of product designers, fostering a collaborative and productive environment.
Maintain hands-on involvement in design tasks, demonstrating and leading by example in creating high-quality design deliverables.
Oversee the design process from concept through delivery, ensuring designs meet business and user needs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, developers, and product managers, to ensure efficient and timely execution of projects.
Defining design goals for projects, incorporating design research, and assisting in setting up A/B testing and user feedback sessions.
Coordinate with designers to effectively present design concepts and decisions to stakeholders.
Optimize team resources, work assignments and project outcomes.
Facilitate the professional development of team members.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
A minimum of 8 years of experience in digital design, B2B, with 1-3 years in a team leadership role. Experience in the project management and reporting industry is preferred.
Proven track record of managing design processes, frameworks, and teams.
Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in product design.
Hands-on experience with user research, usability testing, and design thinking.
Experience in a fast-paced, agile development environment.
Prior experience in mentoring and upskilling designers.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
