Product Development Director plans and directs the resources and processes required to implement the vision and strategy for new product development and product lifecycle management of existing products. Establishes research and concept development projects and capabilities to innovate new products, product enhancements, and product redesign. Being a Product Development Director conducts market analysis and interacts with customers and prospects to identify new markets, articulate the value proposition, define requirements, and lead the development of a product roadmap. Oversees new product development and collaboration with internal stakeholders, including marketing, sales, and manufacturing, to ensure that new and existing products support the organization's financial goals. Summary
The Glen Arbor Arts Center seeks a Development Director to head our ongoing fundraising and related operational needs with a deep commitment to the mission and values of our organization. Reporting to the executive director, this professional must have an established background in non-profit management, preferably in coordinating fundraising strategies.
This role involves organizing large-scale fundraising initiatives, working with board members, managing our annual fundraising goals, and building relationships with donors, members, staff, and volunteers. The development director will assist our board Development Committee with implementing major giving and planned giving fundraising strategies.
Our ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of three years of fund development experience, preferably in the creative arts and/or nonprofit fields. They should also be familiar with CRM nonprofit software, donor databases, and other fundraising technology to use in their daily job duties.

The Development Director usually works in an office environment, However, at times the GAAC's programs and events may take the Director to non-standard workplaces.
This is an hourly position with a maximum of 30-40 hours. The Development Director is an employee with a semiflexible schedule. Peak office hours are June, July, and August. The Development Director will work evenings and/or weekends to accommodate activities such as Board meetings, classes, concerts, etc., and represent GAAC at public events when required.
