Product Development Manager manages the staff, resources, and processes required to implement the vision and strategy for new product development and product lifecycle management of existing products. Incorporates research and concept development projects and capabilities with market analysis, industry intelligence, and customer monitoring to support product roadmaps and innovate new products, enhancements, and redesigns. Being a Product Development Manager coordinates with internal stakeholders, including marketing, sales, and manufacturing, to ensure that new and existing products meet development targets and support the organization's financial goals. Develops teams with the knowledge and expertise to fulfill product development objectives. Additionally, Product Development Manager typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Product Development Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Product Development Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     DD DANNAR, LLC, is an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of a mobile, off-road energy platform that is the first in a new class of hybrid-electric work vehicles. We are looking for a Product Development Software Technician/Engineer to handle new technology integration into existing technology onboard the Mobile Power Station®. This involves the integration of new components, wiring, and software.

    Competencies:

    • Proficient with MS Office products.
    • Experience using multimeter device, crimping tools, wire strippers, solder gun, small hand tools (cutting utensils, wrenches, screwdrivers, etc)

    • Knowledge of IQAN, Raptor, Sevcon Devkits, Matlab/Simulink
    • Ability to work independently with little supervision.
    • Troubleshooting issues or identifying the need for change.
    • Document, research, prepare plans, and execute actions.
    • Demonstrated ability to work well with others and be a team player.

    Travel required:

    • 5% of time

    Required education and experience:

    • HS Diploma with a Certificate in Software Development, and/or equivalent work experience.
    • Programming experience in C , IQAN, Matlab/Simulink, and/or visual-based programming.

    • 3 years of experience developing software programs for electric vehicles.
    • 3 years working in a customer-facing position.
    • Experience in advanced telematics and use of data collection to provide valuable feedback to the team and customers.
    • Lean Six Sigma Training – Green Belt Certification
