Product Development Manager manages the staff, resources, and processes required to implement the vision and strategy for new product development and product lifecycle management of existing products. Incorporates research and concept development projects and capabilities with market analysis, industry intelligence, and customer monitoring to support product roadmaps and innovate new products, enhancements, and redesigns. Being a Product Development Manager coordinates with internal stakeholders, including marketing, sales, and manufacturing, to ensure that new and existing products meet development targets and support the organization's financial goals. Develops teams with the knowledge and expertise to fulfill product development objectives. Additionally, Product Development Manager typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Product Development Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager.     As a Principal Product Manager of Customer Profiles you own the product strategy, roadmap, business, and execution. You will be hands-on with your engineering teams based in Seattle and work closely with senior leadership as well as both internal and external partners.

    You will play a critical role in launching new AWS services. You are an owner, builder, and enabler, working with leaders across UX, Engineering, Business Development, and Finance. You will drive a product roadmap, deliver value to customers, and work with senior AWS leadership on strategy and investment decisions. To be successful in this role you will need an established background in building and leading web-scale software services, a proven understanding in customer engagement, and the ability to build strong relationships with customers and partners to deliver mutual benefits.     Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $144,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $281,800/year in our highest geographic market.
