    About The Position

    iQmetrix is looking for a Product Marketing Analyst II who has a passion for diving deep to bring the voice of the customer to the forefront of product managers, technology teams, and marketing partners. You are “hands-on” when it comes to both qualitative and quantitative research and consistently deliver accurate and relevant insights to drive results. When needed you will challenge plans and assumptions to support delivering value to our customers. You are leading research, tracking results and bringing insights across different regions, products, and target audiences. You will work closely with the product managers, sales, customer experience and product marketing teams tracking product activities, evaluating their success, and identifying how they can contribute to key product decisions, Go to Market strategies and various stages of the product life cycle. You are obsessed with tracking performance and have the data to prove what’s working and what isn’t.
    The ideal candidate will help to support product positioning, go-to-market (GTM), and product strategies through the actionable data, trends, and insights they produce. This role will provide information to support decisions related to product roadmaps, investments, and innovations. This includes understanding customer insight collected from market data, internal and external sources. You will be relentless in understanding how our customer relates to our products and can segment information to best target a specific audience or need. When needed you will support in uncovering market conditions that might be impacting product performance. We are seeking a candidate with outstanding analytical abilities who can communicate data and insights in a clear, concise, and unambiguous manner both verbally and in writing. Seen as a “research expert” and “storyteller” you can articulate complex research issues across teams in ways that can help steer decision making.
    Responsibilities:

    • Collect data on consumers, competitors and marketplace and consolidate information into actionable items, reports, dashboards, and presentations
    • Identify key trends and create data-driven actionable insights
    • Understand business objectives and design surveys to discover prospective customers’ preferences
    • Conduct and manage all stages of quantitative (e.g., surveys) and qualitative (e.g., focus groups, 1:1 interviews, etc.) customer research studies to answer key business questions, including: research proposals, research methodology design, operational execution, and analysis & reporting
    • Fuse data from different resources together in ways that preserve integrity of data and have meaning
    • Perform market analysis to determine size, scope, trends, and other important details about markets that are and could be served by iQmetrix
    • Oversee key consumer and market research data projects, from planning stages to the project's end
    • Manage suppliers for data collection, insights, and business-oriented recommendations
    • Track and report on landscape and industry trends
    • Create regular mechanisms to share monthly reports with the broader team, interpret data, formulate reports and make recommendations
    • Leverage research findings to provide guidance to senior leaders via business reviews
    • Apply learnings from research studies and analytic deep dives to develop strategic insights and inform product strategies and decision making.
    • Recognize and adopt best practices in reporting and analysis: data integrity, test design, analysis, validation, and documentation
    • Work cross-teams including product, marketing, sales and customer experience to identify and fill key knowledge gaps about the prospective and current iQmetrix consumer.
    • Assist in the refinement of iQmetrix customer segmentation, establish understanding and empathy for our target customers' challenges, help with validation of value with new innovations – understand the perspective from the customer's shoes.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional team members and support activities related to analyst relations that would include market models and defining addressable market data

    Qualifications:

    • 3 years of professional non-internship marketing and/or analyst experience
    • Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements
    • Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data
    • Experience using PowerBI or another tool to create actionable dashboards
    • Experience presenting metrics and progress to goal to senior leadership
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional or military experience, with experience in brand tracker management
    • Experience managing suppliers and partners
    • Experience in managing sample source mix, stratified sampling plans, and translations of survey text.
    • Experience in driving qualitative (e.g., focus groups) and quantitative (e.g., survey design) research
    • Flexibility to manage multiple projects at the same time
    • Familiarity with analytical methods and software (e.g., Q, R, SPSS, SAS, STATA, Excel Pivot Tables).
    • Capacity to multitask and prioritize, in order to both think about and "do" market research.
    • Excitement to be included in decision-making and thought leadership in the organization.
    • Ability to understand and appreciate research findings. Should be comfortable conducting data analyses, making conclusions from the data, and writing reports for cross functional teams
    • The ability to interact in a fast-paced environment with a high level of professionalism, remaining flexible, proactive, and resourceful.

    Preferred Experience:

    • Experience working for a large company in the Retail, Telecom, and/or Finance industry
    • 5 years of experience in marketing and research
    • Familiarity with creating, executing, analyzing, and synthesizing findings from large amounts of market research and multiple data sources.
    • Advanced degree/studies in marketing, psychology, statistics, etc. a plus.
    • Familiarity with CRM programs
