Mission/Authority

This self-motivated, hard-working and innovative individual provides support to further the mission of Young Life around the Globe through full understanding of field needs and systems/tools that enable field ministry through the discovery, development, and refinement of YL Connect products and features.

Essential Duties

• Elicit and evaluate business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions appropriate for global applications.
• Ensure product recommendations demonstrate measurable ROI and align with mission goals.
• Analyze and present product data to identify successes, opportunities for enhancement, and support funding justification by way of ROI calculations.
• Documentation and reporting of key performance indicators (KPIs) and objective/key results (OKRs) that support viability.
• Facilitate translation of requirements into features and user stories and other work items for development of products.
• Act as a bridge in translation of technical issues with product stakeholders and development teams.
• Lead ongoing reviews of business processes and develop optimization strategies.
• Stay current on the latest processes and IT advancements and trends to automate and modernize systems.
• Contribute to POCs (proof of concepts), wireframes, and design recommendations to assist the Product Delivery Team in delivering quality software to users.
• Conduct meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings.
• Effectively communicate your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management.
• Perform user acceptance testing.
• Update, implement, and maintain product documentation and knowledge base.
• Serve as a liaison between stakeholders and users.
• Monitor deliverables and track key dates.

Specific Working Conditions:

• This position could be a remote working position, or on-site in Colorado Springs, CO.
• The anticipated salary for this position can range from $55,557-$69,532 depending on relevant education and experience.

Experience Required for The Job

• Salesforce experience a plus
• Experience with Data Analysis technologies like Snowflake and PowerBI a plus.
• Direct work experience in a Business or Data analyst capacity.
• Familiarity with managing an agile backlog and translating requirements into features and user stories.
• Experience analyzing available data to influence prioritization and sequencing.
• Previous experience/involvement in Young Life or a large non-profit a plus.
• Solid working knowledge of current technologies.
• Strong written, interpersonal, and oral communication skills.
• Adept at conducting research into project-related issues and products.

Education:

• Minimum of a bachelor's degree or comparable real-world experience in Information Technology.
• PMI-PBA, CSPO, or similar certification desired.
