Overview
Join our organization! We’re looking for a product marketing manager with some relevant experience to join our growing organization. In this role, the candidate will coordinate a variety of information between our sales, marketing and purchasing departments as well as our external customers. The candidate will also coordinate and manage various marketing materials.
We are a growth-oriented organization based in Rancho Cucamonga, CA and Rialto, CA. It’s a products company focused on sourcing and selling a variety of items in the non-foods segment of the foodservice industry as well as a variety of janitorial / sanitation products and other items as the market dictates.
Our open position is for a full time, salaried, project manager role might be based in either our Rancho Cucamonga or Rialto office.
Primary activities include:
- Actively participate and help drive and organize the new product development process. Candidates MUST be familiar with a gate / stage gate product development process
- Be a product specification expert on all products. Maintain all databases with accurate item codes, weights, dimensions, GTINs, etc. Manage information published in the GDSN database. Manage information in NetSuite ERP.
- Quality control. Evaluate prototype product and first runs of new products to ensure weights, dimensions, performance and quality standards are met. Familiarity with ISO methodologies highly desirable.
- Help develop a wide range of marketing materials including content for print collateral, Powerpoint presentations, website, etc.
- Write and edit copy for marketing materials.
- Support our supply chain department and communicate directly with domestic and foreign suppliers as needed. Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
- Maintain samples and database of competitive products including specifications.
- Research and understand legislation and regulatory topics that impact the product category.
- Work together with the sales team to provide market intelligence, account information, best practices and opportunities.

- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds overhead and carry 25 pounds 100 yards
Experience: MUST have 1-2 years of work experience specifically in product management.
Location: Candidate must live within a reasonable commute from Rancho Cucamonga, CA
Work Hours: A typical work schedule is 8:00 – 5:00 Monday – Friday. Occasionally, work will require calls or video meetings in the evening or early morning with our suppliers based in Asia.
Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred in business, marketing or a related field.
Compensation: - Based on experience. Competitive for the position.
