Job Summary The successful candidate will have a primary focus on leading Product Management projects as well as helping the sales team with various technical requests. The Specialist will also assist the Category Manager in many other duties and low-complexity tasks. This role is positioned within the Product Management team and will report to the Category Manager - Industrial. The job is an excellent learning opportunity through regular interaction and collaboration with numerous other departments at IPEX including Sales, Innovation, Marketing, Research and Development, Supply Chain, Engineering and Manufacturing. Principal Responsibilities Handling and leading Product Management projects and leading cross-functional teams from other departments relevant to each project. Leading the project involves coordinating and leading frequent meetings, assigning tasks to team members, and accepting personal tasks to contribute to the project completion. Assisting the Category Manager on product training activities Assisting Sales by providing technical support on industrial products. Participating as a subject matter expert on various Aliaxis Innovation Model (AIM) projects for new electrical product creation or extensions. Occasionally leading or co-leading AIM Type 0 projects. Participating in occasional trade shows and jobsite visits. Other tasks such as evaluation of product lists regarding accurate Life Cycle status, assisting Marketing on literature content revisions, assisting in special projects, and general assistance in other areas of Product Management including Product Data tasks.
