The product specialist at LUTZE Inc. is a customer facing product expert for wire & cable, cable assemblies and related accessories. The role is supporting our sales team with technical expertise by providing application and product knowledge, helping to select the right product for the application, advising on code and installation practices and offering solutions to customer problems. The product specialist also listens to customer concerns, provides helpful information, and ensures customer satisfaction through positive interactions.

The PS must be able to suggest additional products or services to customers, thereby increasing revenue and fostering repeat business.

All activities are focused on supporting the sales effort while staying focused on the company’s product roadmap objectives. The position is part of the product management team and reports to the Product Manager.

Responsibilities include:

• Promoting current generation products including launch, product messaging, positioning and maximizing product sales performance.
• Providing technical support and training classes to channel partners.
• Assist sales team in competitor crosses, product selection and application review for quoting purposes.
• Maintain solid communication link between PM and Sales Team.
• Proactive communication with product management on the product, its performance and changes in the market or competition.
• Support Marketing Department in marketing activities and trade shows.
• Performs all other tasks as assigned by supervisor.

We are looking for:

• Bachelor of Engineering degree, or equivalent combination of associates degree and electrical experience required
• Technical education and experience in electromechanical disciplines
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Problem solver and customer service orientated personality
• Disciplined and self-motivated

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
