Production Assistant assists with coordinating the production of television or web broadcasts, shows, or videos. Monitors designated schedules and timelines to ensure each phase of production stays on track. Being a Production Assistant collaborates with technical specialists and operators for each production's camera, sound, and lighting. Helps with set-up and operation of production equipment such as consoles or teleprompter, and completes any miscellaneous tasks needed for production. Additionally, Production Assistant may require an associate degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Production Assistant works under moderate supervision. This is a full-time position for a dairy processor/manufacturing. Shift is 7:00a - 3:00p M-F. Weekends off. Two weeks paid vacation time per year. Also, in addition, 7 paid holidays per year. Three immediate openings. Must be able to stand all shift and do assembly line work in ice cream production. Tasks include weekly inventory, product rotation, date coding, and packaging. Must be able to lift 40-50 lb boxes of supplies. Able to do repetitive tasks on assembly line. Some cold room work for stock and inventory. Sanitation at end of shift and on flavor changes. Spanish spoken but must speak English as well. Will train.
