Better Brands Inc. is currently seeking an energetic and dedicated individual to fill a full-time position as a Production Manager assistant who will assist the production manager in all activities relating to production.
The duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
● Responsible for overseeing all activities relating to production in coordination with the production manager.
● Process-oriented individual who will assist the production manager, becoming an expert on all products, manufacturing processes, and machinery
● Assist with ensuring optimum productivity and timely completion of orders while ensuring quality, consistency and safety
● Effectively lead and develop team members
● Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions
Candidates must have the ability to work a schedule that can include long hours and overtime in a highly dynamic environment.
Additionally, the ideal candidate will possess the following competencies:
● Ability to drive a forklift and pallet jacks
● Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills
● Experience with, and sound knowledge of food manufacturing
● Mechanically inclined
● Basic computer and organizational skills
● Demonstrated proactive approaches to problem-solving with strong decision-making capability
● Ability to manage and prioritize multiple, time-sensitive tasks simultaneously
Minimum requirements include:
● Fluent in English/Spanish required
● 5 years in a manufacturing environment required
● Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
● Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Google Drive, Google Calendar, Adobe Acrobat
● Valid driver’s license
● High school degree or equivalent
Hours & Salary
Monday – Thursday: 7:00 am – 7:00 pm
Friday: 8:00 am – 2:00 pm
$70,000 - $80,000
Physical Requirements:
· Requires periods of walking and sitting and working at a computer
