MakSchu Production is a full-service video production company focused on helping organizations build brand recognition and showcase their business culture through commercial campaigns, podcasting, live streaming, hiring videos, training videos, social media campaigns, and more. Makschu Studio is located in North Sarasota and our facility can provide custom set builds, a green screen set, and a podcast suite available for rent.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Production Assistant to join our team. The Production Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting the production process, ensuring smooth operations, and contributing to the overall success of our projects. This role requires strong communication and organizational skills, the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and a passion for the production industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the coordination of production activities, including scheduling, logistics, and resource management.
• Support the production team with administrative tasks such as organizing paperwork, filing documents, and maintaining databases.
• Monitor inventory levels of production supplies and equipment, and communicate any shortages or needs to the appropriate personnel.
• Act as a liaison between production staff, talent, and crew members, facilitating communication and ensuring everyone is informed of schedules and responsibilities.
• Provide general assistance during filming or recording sessions, including running errands, preparing refreshments, and maintaining a clean and organized production environment.
• Handle miscellaneous tasks and projects as assigned by the producer.
• Edit short videos for social media and podcast episodes.
• Maintain website and social media pages.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a production-related role is preferred but not required.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with diverse groups of people.
• Proficiency in computer applications such as Microsoft Office and Google Suite, Adobe Premiere, and Adobe Photoshop.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules, including occasional evenings and weekends.
• A passion for the production industry and a desire to learn and grow within the field.
