Job Overview

The Production Assistant will serve as an integral member of the production team.

Responsibilities and Duties

· Ability to operate various manufacturing equipment, follow specific direction, operate powered equipment, and other duties as assigned.

· Responsible for monitoring the machine and material running through machine to ensure product meets quality and production standards, report problems to line operator in a timely manner.

· Responsible for visual inspection of materials and products used to ensure that productivity and quality standards are met or exceeded.

· Regular, reliable, and predictable attendance is an essential function of every position.

· Maintain a clean work environment.

· Ability to work safely and comply with all safety regulations.

· Ability to adapt to down time while monitoring the machine and material.

· Ability to work in a slower paced environment.

Qualifications

· Manufacturing, warehouse, machine experience, mechanical experience preferred but not required.

· Required overtime, weekend work and various shifts depending on position.

Education

· High School Diploma or GED.

Physical Requirements

· Ability to sit for long periods of time.

· Must be able to lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds.

· Must be able to go up and down a flight of stairs multiple times a day.

Pay: From $15.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
