Description

· Performs all tasks in a safe and responsible manner. 

· Adhere to Cloeren safety policies and procedure

· Complies with all quality policies, specifications, regulations and instructions

· Polish parts using stones, abrasives and other material

· Polish in such a way as to maintain consistency across the finish of the part

· Clean assigned parts and maintains a neat work area

· Perform limited maintenance work as assigned by supervisor

· Occasionally, will breakdown or assemble various parts

Requirements

The polisher uses various tools, stones, abrasives to polish various die bodies, feed blocks and other assigned parts. Must pay attention to detail and consistency of polishing.

· Language skills; must be able to effectively communicate, convey and understand job instructions both verbally and written in the English Language. 

· Interpret; ability to effectively and accurately interpret, convey and express oneself in the exchange ideas in a respectful and professional manner.

· Mathematical skills; ability to perform basic math

· Reasoning ability; ability to define problems, collect data, establishes facts 

· Ability to read and comprehend shop drawings

· Knowledge of safety practices and hazards related to machine operations

· Ability to operate a variety of hand tools

· Ability to meet production goals and complete tasks

· Knowledge of mechanical tools

· Ability to work overtime when required
