Production Control Clerk performs clerical tasks that support production control and ensure the efficient flow of materials required by production schedules. Monitors the inventory of parts, components, and raw materials and coordinates ordering, invoicing, and scheduling with vendors. Being a Production Control Clerk tracks status of customer orders and production schedules to identify issues or delays and coordinates with stakeholders to expedite orders and resolve problems. Inputs and maintains production data in ERP, MRP, or other databases. Additionally, Production Control Clerk requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a manager. The Production Control Clerk works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Primary Role in the Organization:
First contact for all Customer Orders and Capacity requirements. Coordinates customer orders with production departments to ensure on-time delivery. Manage all Production Control activities.

Responsibilities:
1.) Develop departmental objectives in support of President's Objectives
2.) Establish departmental budgets
3.) Review new model programs to ensure no customer issues at start-up
4.) Support of Production planning information
5.) Capacity Evaluation
6.) Inventory accuracy
7.) Control Inventory levels
8.) Maintain departments controlled documents and master list
9.) Physical Inventory
10.) Promote and participate in continuous improvement activities
11.) Support all NRI certifications (i.e.; J-Sox, IATF, ISO, etc.)
12.) Ensure PC, Shipping, & Receiving Departments follow required department procedures to ensure NRI meets of exceed our Customer's delivery requirements.
13.) Maintain conformance with all company policies
14) Control of packaging for MP and Service.
15.) Provide support for associate concerns.
Qualifications:
A. Experience
1.) 3-5 years comparable work experience
2.) JDE-experience preferred
3.) PC-literate with Microsoft Office experience (Excel, Word)
4.) Knowledge of manufacturing environment
5.) Supervisory experience
B. Education
1.) Production Control, Supply Chain, Engineering, or comparable work experience
