Production Control Clerk jobs in Fayetteville, NC

Production Control Clerk performs clerical tasks that support production control and ensure the efficient flow of materials required by production schedules. Monitors the inventory of parts, components, and raw materials and coordinates ordering, invoicing, and scheduling with vendors. Being a Production Control Clerk tracks status of customer orders and production schedules to identify issues or delays and coordinates with stakeholders to expedite orders and resolve problems. Inputs and maintains production data in ERP, MRP, or other databases. Additionally, Production Control Clerk requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a manager. The Production Control Clerk works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job.     · Maintain and update production data records in various formats.

    · Communicate with production team members to ensure data accuracy.

    · Maintain data collection templates and their associated SOPs.

    · Assist with other production-related tasks as needed.

    Qualifications:

    Education and/or Experience :

    High school diploma or equivalent

    1 years of experience in data entry and analysis.

     

    Language:

    Ability to read and understand documents and apply procedures in English.

     

    Mathematical Skills:

    Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

     

    Reasoning:

    Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations where only limited direction exists.

     

    Other Skills and Abilities:

    · Proficient in PC applications, documentation, and organizational skills.

    · Experience in producing reports.

    · Exposure to document control methodologies is desirable.

    · Familiarity with conducting data analysis and reporting statistics.

    · Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

    · Good time-management skills.

    · Great interpersonal and communication skills.

    · Ability to work independently. Sound decision-making skills.

    · Strong proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite – including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

    Work Environment:

    Employees work in a manufacturing processing facility and the noise level is usually noisy. This position will also include an office workspace. In certain areas, employees may work near moving equipment.
