Production Control Clerk performs clerical tasks that support production control and ensure the efficient flow of materials required by production schedules. Monitors the inventory of parts, components, and raw materials and coordinates ordering, invoicing, and scheduling with vendors. Being a Production Control Clerk tracks status of customer orders and production schedules to identify issues or delays and coordinates with stakeholders to expedite orders and resolve problems. Inputs and maintains production data in ERP, MRP, or other databases. Additionally, Production Control Clerk requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a manager. The Production Control Clerk works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. - Interact with customers face to face
- Prepare bills of lading, custom forms, and other documents
- Package items, print labels, and weigh packages
- Maintain internal and other record-keeping systems
- Inspect for damaged goods
- Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices
- Distribute to the correct departments
- Determine method of shipping and arrange shipping
- Some secondary school education
- High School Diploma (or equivalent)

- Good memorization skills

- Basic math skills
- Typing skills 30-40 wpm
$16-19 per hour

Shipping and Receiving Clerk will interface with clients in person. You must be an expert in detailed computer database operations, must be able to learn extremely quickly and be an outstanding problem solver. You must have great attention to detail and be able to work independently with great efficiency. You must be able to lift objects greater than 50 lbs on a regular basis and routinely drive a forklift in a warehouse environment and have a clean driving record for company deliveries.
