Our company is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Production Control and Shipping Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the production control and shipping processes to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products to our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage the production control and shipping teams to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of products
- Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demands and optimize production efficiency
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement team to ensure adequate stock levels are maintained
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies in all production and shipping activities
- Collaborate with other departments to identify and resolve production and shipping issues
- Continuously evaluate and improve production and shipping processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs
- Maintain accurate records of production and shipping activities and prepare reports as needed
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in production control and shipping, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
- Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with other departments and stakeholders
- Knowledge of production planning and scheduling, inventory management, and shipping logistics
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and production control software
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve production and shipping issues
