The Inventory Control Clerk supports the Inventory Control team by performing data entry, reviewing and circulating adjustments, and limited analysis.
MEASURES OF SUCCESS:
- Enter adjustments into the ERP System.
- Review and circulate Item Journals for posting.
- Review adjustments entered by other departments for accuracy and errors.
- Review transactions in the system as part of reconciliation and review of adjustments.
- Use system-generated reports for reviewing inventory.
- Perform some basic analysis utilizing Excel, including the use of standardized templates.
- Maintain Inventory Control Department files.
- Work on special projects and other tasks as assigned by management.
IDEAL CANDIDATE ATTRIBUTES:
- Experience in data entry in an ERP system.
- A background of data entry in either a manufacturing or distribution environment, preferably with experience in inventory, production control, receiving, or shipping.
- Perform basic math and interpret both written and verbal instructions correctly.
- Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and through e-mail.
- Basic excel skills.
- The ability to work as part of team and across departments.
- Focus and remain on task in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail with some analytical ability.
