Production Control Clerk performs clerical tasks that support production control and ensure the efficient flow of materials required by production schedules. Monitors the inventory of parts, components, and raw materials and coordinates ordering, invoicing, and scheduling with vendors. Being a Production Control Clerk tracks status of customer orders and production schedules to identify issues or delays and coordinates with stakeholders to expedite orders and resolve problems. Inputs and maintains production data in ERP, MRP, or other databases. Additionally, Production Control Clerk requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a manager. The Production Control Clerk works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. We are accepting resumes for “Production Control Coordinator” to utilize Syteline (ERP system) to manage/maintain job routings, shop schedules, research past due customer orders, assist with lead-time requests, outsourcing and work with internal groups as needed.
Responsibilities:
· Coordinate all aspects of shop floor manufacturing jobs.
· Review and correct job routings.
· Run job workbench, generate, and distribute jobs with blueprints.
· Re-schedule projected late manufacturing jobs.
· Investigate and resolve material and job shortages.
· Review and close completed manufacturing jobs.
· Process various reports; job status, job closing, material variance and others.
· Obtain quotes/lead-times on outsourced manufactured items.
· Participate in reviewing machines for shortages/current lead-times.
· Update job routings per Engineer Change Notifications (ECN).
· Communicate with vendors & various internal departments.
· Perform inventory adjustments as needed.
· Lead / participate in weekly shortage and machine order meeting.
· Other duties as required.
Requirements:
· Great attitude, strong work ethic and flexible team player.
· Effective time management and ability to multitask and prioritize workload.
· Excellent computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office.
· Problem resolution skills.
· Good mathematic and computational skills.
· Experience with Syteline MRP/ERP System preferred.
· Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
· Must have the ability to work under limited supervision and take ownership of task.
· Ability to access a computer for up to four hours continuously.
