Monitors the inventory of parts, components, and raw materials and coordinates ordering, invoicing, and scheduling with vendors. Being a Production Control Clerk tracks status of customer orders and production schedules to identify issues or delays and coordinates with stakeholders to expedite orders and resolve problems. Inputs and maintains production data in ERP, MRP, or other databases. Additionally, Production Control Clerk requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a manager. The Production Control Clerk works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. The Process Engineer is responsible for execution of material flow design, analyzing and optimizing material conveyance to support material handling, production, warehouse, layouts, and processes related to production of all Tesla products. We are looking for a talented and highly motivated individual who can create systematic workflows to unlock efficient material flows, drives business process, high throughput capabilities and operating models throughout our organization. This team is responsible for supporting all physical engineering needs of the Production Control team, including designing mechanisms for all material flow aspects from receiving, metering, including order fulfillment through sequencing and kitting, with solutions to safety and ergonomic hazards and Line Side Material Presentation. Successful members of the team will be highly proactive and self-sufficient in pursuing improvement projects, be able to multitask and refocus efforts immediately to meet constantly shifting demands in a fast-paced environment and have exceptional organizational skills to coordinate changes with all affected teams.
