Production Control Clerk jobs in Santa Ana, CA

MINIMUM 1 YEAR OF RECENT PRODUCTION CLERK EXPERIENCE IN A FAST-PACED ENVIRONMENT 

Connect Staffing, Inc. is hiring experienced Production Clerk for a large cookie company in Los Alamitos, CA.

Schedule: 2^nd shift – Weekends Only. 8-12 hour shifts. Typical start time 2pm-4pm but may be as late at 7pm.

Requirements for Production Clerk:

• Must have 1 year of recent production clerk experience in a fast-paced environment. 
• Ability to handle and prioritize multiple task.
• Proficiency with computers and computer programs such as excel, microsoft word and outlook.
• Detail oriented and very organized.
• Ability to create and understand reports to make production decisions.
• A desire to promote the success of the organization and production staff. 
• Prior experience roles such as production planner, production lead, or food production worker is a big plus.

Responsibilities of the Production Clerk :

• Create and maintain schedules (Daily and Weekly)
• Schedule people in a manner that ensures the right number of people with the right skills are in place by following the staffing matrix. 
• Inconjunction with the production supervisor, manage time off, attendance, absences and vacancies.
• Partners with and communicates daily with Human Resources and Temp Agencies regarding time off, attendance, absences, and vacancies.
• Supports all leads, assistant leads, and supervisors as needed, identify problems, and help improve processes.
• Use software to generate reports and schedules such as shift recaps and startup reports.
• File, Scan and organize production paperwork.
• Other duties as assigned.
