Production Control Clerk performs clerical tasks that support production control and ensure the efficient flow of materials required by production schedules. Monitors the inventory of parts, components, and raw materials and coordinates ordering, invoicing, and scheduling with vendors. Being a Production Control Clerk tracks status of customer orders and production schedules to identify issues or delays and coordinates with stakeholders to expedite orders and resolve problems. Inputs and maintains production data in ERP, MRP, or other databases. Additionally, Production Control Clerk requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a manager. The Production Control Clerk works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Working under direct supervision and using detailed instruction, ensures integration, scheduling, monitoring, problem resolution, and output control of applications in a multi-platform, 24x7 data center operations environment is completed.
Participates in the integration and maintenance of automation procedures and assists in analyzing existing and new production applications to insure schedule and procedural efficiencies.
Performs processing analysis related to effective utilization and efficient, accurate, and timely computer processing based upon production application resource consumption behaviors including the identification and resolution of service-level problems and mission-critical tasks.
This role will be responsible for supporting all US-based BHE platforms.
