Description

 Purpose: Work with Engineering, Materials, and OEM to manage CN implementation and to bring new parts in by setting up part numbers, purchase orders, and EDI releases. Support Materials Dept daily operations with cycle count report and SAP transactions. Publish operations and materials reports daily, weekly, and monthly. Work with IBT company to manage SAP transportation module 

Requirements

Essential   Duties:

• Collect daily production including production output, work hours, manpower, etc.
• Publish weekly production reports for weekly staff meetings and bulletin boards.
• Manage CN part changes – CN alert, 1st        sequence recording, CN communications internal/external.
• CN info management – participate in internal/external CN weekly meetings, and track upcoming CNs.
• SAP Material Master management – create part numbers and maintain info.
• Create/maintain PSA (PO) and maintain source list in SAP.
• Monitor incoming 830/862 for brand new parts daily and/or weekly for new suppliers, parts, or resources.
• Maintain SAP production BOMs when required.
• Create part numbers in MES.
• Set up and maintain MES CNs for dual barcode scans and SR messages.
• Monitor SAP backlog daily and drive resolution.
• Publish daily materials cycle count reports and maintain cycle count sheets.
• Maintain SAP transportation module for routing or pricing changes.
• Submit monthly diversity report to OEM.
• Publish monthly materials closing report –        Inventory, adjustments, IBT, expedite, NCT, GR/IR
• Material history research for obsolescence or gain/loss items.
• Perform SAP materials transactions to support the Materials Dept's daily operations.
• Provide input in the OEM Capacity management system when notified.
• Follow up with the ERP team for SAP system improvement in a user’s standpoint.
• Generate continuous improvement ideas
• Support pilot build activities, 
• Champion/support annual build-out
• Participate in physical inventory and generate physical inventory summary reports.
• Support/perform special projects as necessary.

Education   / Skill / Experience Requirements: A 4-year college degree is required and a major in supply chain management is desired. Same field internship experience desired. Must be effective in oral and written communication, computer proficient, and detail-oriented. Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) required. SAP experience desired.
