Production Control Clerk performs clerical tasks that support production control and ensure the efficient flow of materials required by production schedules. Monitors the inventory of parts, components, and raw materials and coordinates ordering, invoicing, and scheduling with vendors. Being a Production Control Clerk tracks status of customer orders and production schedules to identify issues or delays and coordinates with stakeholders to expedite orders and resolve problems. Inputs and maintains production data in ERP, MRP, or other databases. Additionally, Production Control Clerk requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a manager. The Production Control Clerk works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. POSITION SUMMARY
The Production Control Supervisor role serves many customers and stakeholders and is accountable for the supervision of the Production Control Department. To do so they are responsible for creating and ensuring compliance with the Master Production Schedule in line with the Sales, Inventory, and Operating Plan (SIOP), providing guidance to the Buyer/Planners to maintain optimal inventory levels, and serves as the voice of Operations regarding what is being built, when in interactions with Customer Service. The candidate will ensure that the department goals are met and leads improvement actions when they are not.

Education:

Experience:

Thorough understanding and practical application ability in Statistical Methods: Required
Computer Skills:
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Required
Experience with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) SAP: Preferred
Certifications & Licenses:
Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) certification or Certified Production and Inventory Management (CPIM): Preferred
Valid driver’s license must be maintained throughout employment that meets Busch insurance standard
Other Requirements: May be required to travel domestically and internationally with some overnight stays.
