Production Control Director manages the overall strategic and tactical production control planning, scheduling, flow of materials, and monitoring to achieve goals and objectives for delivery dates, output quality, volume, cost, and optimization. Oversees scheduling and the development of methods to allocate and control resources and materials effectively. Being a Production Control Director establishes monitoring tools and processes to identify and plan for problems with waste, inefficiencies, and inventory in production operations. Recommends improvements to production technology and processes. Additionally, Production Control Director collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to develop effective planning methodologies and best practices. Requires a bachelor's degree. Primary Role in the Organization:
First contact for all Customer Orders and Capacity requirements. Coordinates customer orders with production departments to ensure on-time delivery. Manage all Production Control activities.

Responsibilities:
1.) Develop departmental objectives in support of President's Objectives
2.) Establish departmental budgets
3.) Review new model programs to ensure no customer issues at start-up
4.) Support of Production planning information
5.) Capacity Evaluation
6.) Inventory accuracy
7.) Control Inventory levels
8.) Maintain departments controlled documents and master list
9.) Physical Inventory
10.) Promote and participate in continuous improvement activities
11.) Support all NRI certifications (i.e.; J-Sox, IATF, ISO, etc.)
12.) Ensure PC, Shipping, & Receiving Departments follow required department procedures to ensure NRI meets of exceed our Customer's delivery requirements.
13.) Maintain conformance with all company policies
14) Control of packaging for MP and Service.
15.) Provide support for associate concerns.
Qualifications:
A. Experience
1.) 3-5 years comparable work experience
2.) JDE-experience preferred
3.) PC-literate with Microsoft Office experience (Excel, Word)
4.) Knowledge of manufacturing environment
5.) Supervisory experience
B. Education
1.) Production Control, Supply Chain, Engineering, or comparable work experience
