Production Control Assistant

With our ongoing growth, we have an immediate opening for Production Control Assistant to work and grow as part of a team in managing the flow of product from production to the ultimate shipment of parts.
Production Control Assistant Job Description:

• Assist in managing of production, shipping, and inventory operations.
• Evaluation and implementation of measures to ensure 100% on time customer delivery.
• Work as part of a team in production scheduling in a JIT environment.
• Look for productivity gains and assist with implementation.
• Learn and aid in managing computerized inventory systems.
• Work as a team to manage and improve shipping operations for multiple plant operation.
• Container management support.
• Customer production and shipment related communication and projects.
• Subcontractor management and issue resolution.
• Perform and/or assist additional tasks as required.

Production Control Assistant Requirements:

• Strong analytical, organizational and administrative skills
• Tact, excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization
• Strong teamwork sense
• Degree in Business/Supply Chain Management or practical experience equivalent
• Experience in Logistics a plus
• 1-2 years of management experience
• Strong abilities in Microsoft Office / Excel
• Proficient level of English
• AS400 experience preferred
