PPC ProgrammerPosition Summary:
PPC (Planning and Production Control) Programmers perform diversified duties related to production documentation. The role involves from planning to data input and analysis. PPC is a multitask planning division co-responsible for planning, preparing and controlling production’s documentation and execution, mainly through schedules, constructive details and reports.
Essential Functions/Job Requirements:
Update the Production Schedule based on the orders shipped and new orders received.
Prepare Delivery Schedules and packing lists daily, based on the Production Schedule.
Prepare, check and review Process Control documents such as Line Drawings and QC Inspection Reports.
Prepare Lumber-Cut Programs.
Make Shipping calculations, and draw simulations to estimate the number of trailers/trucks/containers required for each consignment.
Craft and provide loading drawings to the Person in charge of Packing and Loadings.
Prepare Packing lists for internal movements
Perform System-related duties such as data input, product codification and structuration.
Sporadic production check to ensure customer requirements as per the Line Drawings and Inspection Reports.
Subside the preparation of the monthly inventory for lumber and finished products via label collection and reports.
Issue, consume and transfer production labels.
Sporadic training for Factory personnel on reporting and data gathering.
Comply with the safety, quality and environment system requirements.
Share the responsibility of identifying and reporting unsafe activities, conditions and installations.
Attend the daily Production meeting when requested.
Carry out eventual additional duties assigned by your superior.

Qualifications:
Minimum High-School level;
Good spoken and written English. Spanish is a differential;
Intermediate computer skills with Office Package. CAD is a differential;

Results-oriented;
Self-motivated and able to work independently;
