Manage production schedule for the entire plant, based on standard times provided by each department. Track incoming shipments from Japan (via Ocean or Air) and ensure parts arrive in time for use. Assign necessary paperwork to jobs for tracking purposes (travelers, parts pick lists, assembly checkbooks, etc.) Notify the traffic department when a machine has been completed to assist in scheduling pickup.
