Job Overview

Key Job Responsibilities

Loading and unloading all inbound/outbound trucks

Process all inbound inventory items and any/ all customer provided property which may be on site periodically

Monitor all reports for proper warehouse management

Responsible for all inventory issues from the warehouse for jobs and transfers

Cycle counts- perform all cycle counting functions and computer transactions to maintain inventory accuracy as directed

Sorting, tagging, and packing all material to outside vendors for repairs

Complete all shipping documents in detail, including all transactions required to C.H. Robinson web site to book loads

Monitor and expedite all spares orders manufactured at the Abingdon facility by Wolf Hills for KMC

Transact into inventory using SAP system spares orders manufactured by Wolf Hills for KMC

Oversee and manage any non inventory KMC supplied materials used in the manufacturing process

Responsible for maintaining accurate steel plate inventory including transacting steel issues to service and production orders as required and resolving any associated issues

Responsible for the coordination, planning and execution of physical steel inventories utilizing Wolf Hills labor to accomplish a minimum of twice per FY

Enter and manage all purchase requisitions into SAP for supplies required for the Abingdon facility other than for shop floor manufacturing. E.G. office supplies

Enter PP12 operations into SAP orders as required/ directed to process outsourced operations

Assist in monitoring parts shortages on jobs

Other responsibilities as may be directed by management

Qualifications/Requirements

Position requires 1-2 years in production control in a manufacturing environment

Proficient with personal computer

Proficient with forklift and overhead crane use

Foundation of Lean Principles
