Production Control Director manages the overall strategic and tactical production control planning, scheduling, flow of materials, and monitoring to achieve goals and objectives for delivery dates, output quality, volume, cost, and optimization. Oversees scheduling and the development of methods to allocate and control resources and materials effectively. SUMMARY
This position will be responsible for assisting the production planning team to coordinate all aspects of the production schedule for all departments. Conducts daily product reviews to assess semi-finish and finish inventory levels, re-order amounts, and assist with planning for future product needs. Also involved with, data entry, material monitoring, and creating and monitoring production orders. Communicates with multiple departments, supervisors, and other personnel daily.
The role will learn all aspect of the Production Control Planning Process and Production Planning systems to be able to back up team members when out and to grow into a Production Control Planner preferred.
