DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Plan and Create production schedule for assembly or press.
• Daily conversion of shipping information
• Daily conversion of sales order information from EDI
• Daily conversion of production information
• Confirmation of raw material requirements/receipts and enters raw material projections.(Press only)

• Assist in creation of purchase orders for raw material (press scheduler).
• Monitors and maintains production schedule and inventory (Raw Material, WIP, FG), production situations and other factors affect schedule.
• Monitors and maintains production capacity.
• Communicate with all appropriate departments/staff concerning production schedule status, schedule updates, problem analysis, and countermeasures.
• Cycle counting of production material
• Investigating reasons for part shortages
• Assist and lead in monthly inventory gap investigation and countermeasures.

• Prepares all required reports, paperwork, and correspondence for daily NAPD (must investigate and report reason for SVA percentages less than 70%), weekly report and monthly all associates meeting, which includes understanding and investigating SVA percentages and Days On Hand Inventory.
• Performs other duties as assigned by manager.
• Communicates with appropriate Topre stamping facility to arrange and track hot parts.
• Available to provide after hours support for onsite coordinators and communication on hot parts.

REQUIRED:

• Excellent communication skills including written and oral.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Microsoft Excel.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Versatile, flexible, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
• Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions.
• Creative, flexible, and innovative team player.
• Proven ability to handle multiple situations and meet deadlines.
• Acute attention to detail.
• Must be able to workoccasional overtime during week and weekends.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to deal effectively with a diversity of individuals at all organizational levels.

PREFERRED:

• Business related Associate’s degree (A.A.) or 2 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
