Production Control Manager manages the day-to-day tactical production control planning, scheduling, flow of materials, and monitoring to achieve goals and objectives for delivery dates, output quality, volume, cost, and optimization. Oversees scheduling and the development of methods to allocate and control resources and materials effectively. Being a Production Control Manager establishes monitoring tools and processes to identify and plan for problems with waste, inefficiencies, and inventory in production operations. Recommends improvements to production technology and processes. Additionally, Production Control Manager collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to develop effective planning methodologies and best practices. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Production Control Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Production Control Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Production Manager
Manufacturing Facility in England Airpark is looking for a full time leader to both operate and monitor the operations of CNC production machinery. This individual will assist in instruction and training in an ISO9001 production manufacturing environment. Previous Management experience is a requirement. References required.
Safety consciousness and ability to follow written and verbal procedures is critical to success.
Responsibilities
- Punctuality and attendance
- Following procedures and protocols as documented
- Loading raw material into machine as required
- Building up CNC tooling as required
- Great communication skills - both written and verbal
- Recording daily activities and production issues
- Reading part prints, tooling drawings, and specifications
- Keeping a clean, organized work environment
- Promptly notifying management of problems
- Auditing operations to procedural norms
Requirements
- Ability to regularly/repeatedly lift 50 pounds
- Familiarity with common hand tools
- Advanced computer skills
- CNC Experience a plus
- Legally able to work in US
- Some travel may be required for machine training
- Professional or personal references for effort and attitude
- Ability to wear safety glasses, gloves, and COVID masks as required.
Experience in a ISO9001:2015 manufacturing environment is a plus.
