Production Control Manager manages the day-to-day tactical production control planning, scheduling, flow of materials, and monitoring to achieve goals and objectives for delivery dates, output quality, volume, cost, and optimization. Oversees scheduling and the development of methods to allocate and control resources and materials effectively. Being a Production Control Manager establishes monitoring tools and processes to identify and plan for problems with waste, inefficiencies, and inventory in production operations. Recommends improvements to production technology and processes. Additionally, Production Control Manager collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to develop effective planning methodologies and best practices. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Production Control Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Production Control Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Arc Production Services inc. (APS) has been in operation since 2019 providing customer satisfaction and continual improvement on all APS products and services. APS has built and implemented a Quality Management System modeled after the three-tiered ISO 9001:2015 & API-Q2 QMS Standards.
Press Brake Operator Responsibilities
Machine Setup:
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to determine the required specifications for each job.
- Select the appropriate tooling and dies for the brake press machine.
- Set up and configure the brake press machine according to job specifications, including adjusting the ram speed, stroke length, and back gauge position.
Material Handling:
- Load and unload raw materials (usually metal sheets or plates) onto and from the brake press machine.
- Ensure that materials are properly aligned and secured in the machine to avoid defects or accidents.
Machine Operation:
- Operate the brake press machine to bend, form, or shape metal materials according to the specified dimensions and angles.
- Monitor the machine's performance and make adjustments as necessary to maintain quality and accuracy.
- Use various controls and settings to control the bending process, including pressure, speed, and tooling alignment.
- Check the first piece produced for quality and make any necessary adjustments before proceeding with the production run.
Qualifications:
· The ideal candidate should have five years of experience in press brake operation with a minimum of two years.
· Hard working with an excellent work ethic.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 45 per week
